Service Description

This class is for the beginner or someone who wants to work on the Basics of riding a snowmobile off trail in deep snow. We focus on teaching you to ride on edge, side hilling, counter steering in deep snow, riding techniques and the basics. Price ($1,200) is for 2 clients with two guides. Add a third friend for $400 and a 4th for $300 Please contact us to add third or fourth person). Multiple day discounts available. Learn the proper techniques of mountain riding to improve and expand on your knowledge, taking your riding to the next level. Clinic also includes avalanche awareness, safe route finding, backcountry survival skills and a pow filled day pushing your skills. This is not an Avalanche class, if you are interested in a Avalanche Class, please select our Level 1 Motorized Class. Mininum Group Size 2, Max 4. IF WE DO NOT MEEET THE MINUMUM OF 2 PARTICIPANTS PER CLINIC, CLINIC WILL BE CANCELLED AND A FULL REFUND WILL BE GIVEN. Please note, all participants must be 18 years of age or older and be in general good physical shape as this class is challenging, especially at our high elevation. All participants will be required to sign a waiver prior to participating in the clinic. You must provide your own gear, including: Snowmobile- Year 2018 or newer and in good mechanical condition) with at least 146” track length or longer. Backpack to carry all gear- doesn’t need to be airbag but highly recommended. All safety gear lives on back, not your tunnel bag. Fitted helmet, 2 pairs of goggles, 2 pairs of gloves Good outerwear and warm layers for cold climate riding and extra gear like packable down jacket Three antenna avalanche beacon with battery life above 70% Probe Avalanche shovel FRS walki talki radio with full battery life Plenty of food and water to stay hydrated and energized all day Itinerary -Meet at chosen Trailhead at 8am.. Review avalanche forecast, check gear, sign waivers, etc…We have multiple trailheads to choose from based on trail conditions, weather conditions, and riding level of the participants. Please make sure your vehicle has 4-wheel drive and snow tires for snow packed roads. -On the snow practicing beacon searches, rescue scenarios, and digging snow pits to analyze the danger. -Riding- Assess your riding skills and work on backcountry riding techniques.

Cancellation Policy

Our cancellation policy is as follows: ​ A 20% fee will be charged for any cancellations made within 5 days of the reservation and the remaining 80% shall be refunded towards the original form of payment, OR 100% of the original payment shall be credited towards a future reservation that must be within the same riding season. The credit will be fully forfeited if it is not used by the end of the 2022 riding season. For group riding clinics- If minimum of 2 participants is not met, clinic shall be cancelled and a full refund will be given.
